I am on the Board of Directors and serve as the volunteer marketing & communications manager for a community nonprofit that provides emergency monetary grants and educational growth opportunities to qualified applicants. In addition to assisting in the organization's 501(c)(3) start-up process, I have written and published materials that target both grant recipients and donors, including brochures, applications, quarterly newsletters, and annual reports. In addition, my involvement in the organization's fundraising efforts has been critical in engaging donors. I also created and maintain RH Helping Hands' website (www.rhhelpinghands.org) and social media accounts to connect with both grant recipients and donors.
